Soi Cowboy is on the list of every visitor to Bangkok. It’s a notorious party zone for foreigners and a place to head to find a bit of fun. Do keep in mind that it’s a red light district so most definitely not a place to take kids. But if you want to stop by to see late night Bangkok this area is a bit more well lit and safer than Patpong.
Benjasiri Park is an awesome inner city park in Bangkok. Built in 1992 and shadowed by the surrounding skyscrapers it’s a nice place to take in some green park land in a densely populated city. Octave is one of the best rooftop bars in Bangkok. The bar takes in panoramic views of the city in every direction and is not to be missed. Sitting on the 45th Floor of the Marriott 57 Hotel it is quite possibly the best place to party in Bangkok.
The venue itself is three stories but the top story takes the cake. Make sure you take your wallet as it’s not cheap, but very worth it for the view.
W Market is an awesome night market along Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. The market is part food market and part drinks market with over a hundred international eating options. It’s laid out with outdoors tables and is truly a great place to mingle with the locals.
Open till midnight W Market is a great place to enjoy a drink, talk into the night and listen to local music. Highly recommended if you love local people, local food and experiencing Thailand’s culture.
