Sydney Northern Beaches are one of the most beautiful areas that city has to offer. Manly is a quintessentially Australian suburb with bronzed bodies and surfers abound. There are a lot of things to do in Manly.
The tour will start at Circular Quay where we will jump on a ferry to Manly. The ferry ride itself takes in the beautiful views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge from the harbour. Taking around thirty minutes you’ll step off in a world away from the city. It is a beautiful little suburb edged by the long white sandy beach which it’s famous for.
The tour will walk from Manly Beach along the water front to the more private Shelly Beach, which backs on to a giant National Park. We’ll continue through the National Park taking in the rugged coastline.
With any luck you’ll see some of the local wildlife!
Making our way back we’ll stop by to check out some of the things to do in Manly, finishing up with coffee, tea or beer on the beach side.
Note this is a walking tour and a lot of walking will be involved – you’ve been warned!
About your guide:
Scott will be your guide through Sydney’s beaches and coastal walkways. He’s a well seasoned traveller who has been living in Sydney for three years now. Prior to Verramente he worked in finance and tech roles but his passion for travel was too much of a pull. He often takes this walk with his wife and two puppies and loves to share the view with other travellers – he also enjoys an drink or two.
